Bowling Green is buzzing after the WKU women’s tennis team faced off against Lipscomb, ultimately falling 5-2 during a spirited home match held at the Warren County Tennis Facility at Michael O. Buchanon Park. The Lady Toppers, striving for supremacy, find themselves with a season record now sitting at 2-1.
Before the singles matches got underway, WKU put their best foot forward in doubles. Capturing the doubles point marked the third consecutive match where the team did just that, showcasing their teamwork and chemistry. Fans cheered as Mia Miranda and Emily Schut took their doubles record to a sparkling 3-0 this season, while Sofia Blanco and Rachel Hermanova improved to 2-0, proving that they can hold their own on the court.
