March 13, 2025, allowing residents to share their thoughts on the Bowling Green-Warren County Metropolitan Planning Organization’s 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan. This comprehensive plan will address transportation needs for the next 25 years, ensuring the city’s growth aligns with community satisfaction.

A whopping $1 billion in transportation needs have been identified, but there’s a budget of only $100 million allocated every two years! This means feedback and priorities from local residents are crucial. Issues of congestion stood out as a major concern during discussions, and many voiced their support for greater biking routes and expanded greenway paths.

Building Positive Spaces

Jennings Creek Elementary. This park is inspired by the necessity for fostering positive experiences in the community after the devastating tornadoes in 2021. The design intends to blend natural beauty with accessible play features, addressing flooding challenges and bringing joy back into the neighborhood.

Scottsville Road. Thanks to a grant from the Carbon Reduction Program and local contributions, about $220,000 has already been approved for the design phase of a mile-long shared-use path.
