In a significant development on Thursday, Warren County Public Schools has announced the appointment of Nicholas Lowe as the new principal for Jennings Creek Elementary.
The newly appointed principal, Nicholas Lowe, has a rich background in education. He served as the assistant principal of South Warren High School beginning 2019, a role that was multifaceted, including coaching developing staff, school communication, and partnership building.
Prior to this, Lowe was a faculty member of Greenwood High School from 2009 to 2019, during which he proved his mettle as a Political Science, World History, Reel History, Geography, Pre-Ap Geography, and AP European History teacher. Adding to his diverse experience, Lowe also served as the athletic director between 2013 and 2019.
Expressing his delight and gratitude, Lowe stated, “I am beyond excited for the opportunity to serve as the principal of Jennings Creek Elementary. I would like to thank Mr. Clayton, Dr. Johnson and the SBDM Council for putting their trust in me to lead JCES.”
He further added, “It is evident that Jennings Creek is an amazing place to be and I am looking forward to working alongside the wonderful staff, being a part of the community and getting to know all of our students. My goal is to work collaboratively with all stakeholders of the Jennings Creek community to keep the great work that is being done there moving forward.”
Emphasizing the significance of the staff’s contribution in shaping students’ lives, Lowe expressed his excitement about joining this work. He shared his hope and vision to build upon the ongoing initiatives and to carry them forward even better in the years to come. He is scheduled to assume the principal role on July 15, 2024.
The appointment of Nicholas Lowe as the new principal of Jennings Creek Elementary is seen as a fresh infusion of energy, leadership, and a strong educational vision. His past experiences, zeal for educating young minds, and innovative leadership approach are expected to benefit the school.
