Warren County Rocked by Spate of Mailbox Damages
Date: April 2, 2024
Incident Overview
In a disturbing series of events, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office received multiple complaints of damaged mailboxes over the weekend. The count stands at eight affected residences, located primarily around Meng Road and Homer Murray Road.
An eyewitness at one of the affected locations reported seeing a light-colored sedan speeding away from the scene. More intriguingly, the vehicle seemed to be fleeing in the direction of Woodburn.
Connection to Reckless Driving Reports
Corroborating the eyewitness, Dispatch at WCSO later received reports of a Ford passenger car acting recklessly on Three Springs Road, heading towards Richpond Rockfield Road. The description of the vehicle matched the one provided by the homeowner.
