BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – In an inspiring move that combines learning and hands-on experience, two determined students from Warren Central High School are taking their future into their own hands. They’re not just hitting the books; they’re getting their hands dirty with technology by working on repairs for Chromebooks used throughout the Warren County Public Schools district.

The students are part of the Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP), an initiative that empowers students to tackle technology-related challenges in their schools. On a recent Wednesday, two enthusiastic tenth graders were spotted in the school’s library, immersed in the intricate world of Chromebook repairs. One of them, Khup Va, shared his passion, stating, “That really encompasses not just STLP, but being able to have the ability to fix the technology here at school. I really like this subject, and what I do because it helps other people while I also get to fulfill what I like to do.”

I can play the violin, I can play many instruments. I also play sports as well, so having technology under my wing and having this skill is beneficial for me and I like it, I love it,” she said.

Wendy added a heartfelt sentiment, saying, “It’s very rewarding, especially since I am first generation, my parents are immigrants.
