In an exciting blend of history, culture, and gastronomy, the much-anticipated summer tour series, “Taste of BG: A Celebration of Vulture and Cuisine,” is set to kick off on June 11. The tour has been launched as a collaborative venture between Unseen BG and BG Trolley Tours, two enterprises acclaimed in Bowling Green, Kentucky, for bringing one-of-a-kind experiences to locals and visitors alike.
Commencing at the Historic RailPark and Museum, guests will take a scenic ride through the iconic Bowling Green on the trolley. The ride will include intriguing details about Sasa Mandrapa’s journey into the restaurant business, detailing how he became a renowned restaurant owner in Bowling Green.
Making stops at four local culinary hotspots, guests will have the opportunity to experience a variety of the city’s favorite dishes. Visits will be made to Toro, Speeza, Novo Dulce, and Pub by Novo. Each stop will allow guests to get off the trolley, taste test delectable dishes, and sip on refreshing drinks.
The inaugural “Taste of BG: A Celebration of Vulture and Cuisine” tour starts at 2 p.m., and is expected to last for approximately two hours. The tour ticket is priced at $99, covering the cost of the trolley ride, food and drink samplings at the various dining locations. With tours also scheduled for June 18, 25, and July 2, there will be plenty of opportunities to join in if the first date is missed.
