In a quiet neighborhood of Alvaton, Kentucky, a major structure fire unfolded late in the evening. The conflagration reportedly started on the 300 block of New Cut Road. The fire escalated rapidly, prompting the immediate response from local emergency services.
The scenario was confirmed by Warren County Sheriff Brett Hightower. He made the official announcement and advised locals and motorists to avoid the area due to the fire. “The fire is still active and the road will be closed for several hours,” Sheriff Hightower reported. He urged everyone to take an alternate route to ensure their safety as emergency teams battle the flames.
The local fire department mobilized its team to the scene as soon as the fire was reported. The team responded with a full array of firefighting equipment. They have been battling the rampant blaze late into the night, working tirelessly to get it under control.
The fire has caused moderate traffic disruption, mostly due to road closure in the affected block. Sheriff Hightower urged area residents to stay vigilant and follow evacuation orders if any. Further, he advised motorists to refrain from rubbernecking to allow emergency vehicles free access to the scene. No injuries related to the incident have been reported as of yet.
The cause of the fire remains unclear at this point. Fire officials will launch an investigation once the blaze is completely extinguished. We will continue to provide additional information as and when it becomes available.
