In a distressing turn of events for the Bowling Green community, a former substitute teacher at Warren Central High School has been charged with serious allegations of sexual abuse of a student. The situation began to unfold on November 22, when the Warren County Sheriff’s Office received a report regarding a sexual offense at the high school. The report indicated that a teacher had allegedly sent inappropriate messages to a female student. Following this, the sheriff’s deputies were informed by more than one juvenile student that they had witnessed these troubling communications between the teacher, identified as Christopher Porter-Bunton, and the student.
According to the citation, a witness stated that the victim was scheduled to meet with Porter-Bunton in a school hallway. Another account indicated that the student had shared experiences of meeting him in a classroom after school in March 2024, where the allegations claim Porter-Bunton kissed her and exposed his private parts.

Instead, he reportedly pulled her into the classroom, that’s when she described receiving unwanted advances which included being hugged and kissed, as well as the exposure of his genitals.
