Local Ice Cream Business Scoops of Joy Supports Veterans at Car Show Fundraiser

Bowling Green, KY – A big party is coming to town guys, and it’s all about classic cars, ice cream, and giving back to our heroes in uniform. The place? The Texas Roadhouse. The date? Sept. 7. This ain’t just about flaunting those sleek mean machines though. It’s about brightening the day for the brave men and women who’ve served and are currently serving in our military.

The folks at Scoops of Joy, a local ice cream company known not just for their yummy desserts but also their inclusive employment policies, are going to be on the scene, dishing out scoops of happiness. What’s special about Scoops of Joy, you ask? Their team includes individuals with Down syndrome, and let me tell you they serve up the tastiest scoops in town.

But wait, there’s a cherry on top. All the money raised from the car show is going to be used for the Hero Card program. This program is cool cause’ it says ‘thank you’ to our heroes in a very tangible way. The funds raised will provide a gift card for veterans and active military on the very special Veterans Day.

So if you’re a fan of polished classic cars, sweet ice cream, and supporting a noble cause, mark your calendars. The car-show run-time is from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. You don’t wanna miss it!

Remember folks, every little bit counts. By spending your day out at the car show, enjoying some delicious ice cream from Scoops of Joy, you’ll be making a big difference in the lives of our veterans and active military. It’s not every day that you get to appreciate classic cars, relish your favorite dessert, and also make someone’s day a bit brighter.

So let’s turn out in droves and show our veterans and military personnel how much we appreciate their service. Let’s give them a true Hero’s welcome and spread the joy with some great ice cream.
