Expanding Primary Care Access in Bowling Green: Graves Gilbert Clinic Integrates Two More Clinics in Its Network

July 24, 2024 – Bowling Green, KY – A big boost for health care in the community is underway as Graves Gilbert Clinic proudly announced its plan to expand its primary care provider network by a whopping 20 percent! Now, more of Bowling Green’s folks will have easier access to top-of-the-line health care services.

Two local clinics, the Allen Clinic at 746 Campbell Ln Suite 101 and the Bowling Green Medical Clinic at 1777 Ashley Circle, have hopped aboard the good ship Graves Gilbert. This is definitely an exciting expansion with these two darlings, not just adding to the size, but also to the strength of the network.

“We were over the moon,” expressed Mike D’Eramo, the big boss, aka CEO, at Graves Gilbert Clinic. “The need for primary care has been sky-rocketing in our community. Our buddy, primary care, is essentially undergoing a sort of golden age.”

The clinic believes this bold move will ensure more folks can be part of their value-based care programs, a fancy jargon for their practical and patient-focused approach to care. Plenty of patient-side perks are on the table. “We want to manage your care and information better and put more resources into these practices,” assured D’Eramo.

The choice of these two clinics wasn’t a random draw. Both enjoy some prime real estate located smack in the middle of important and busy areas in southcentral Kentucky. D’Eramo confessed, “Their locations make them a great fit from a marketing standpoint.”

Scooping up these two clinics to its networks means Graves Gilbert is now the brand-new home to a bunch of health care all-stars such as Joseph R. Allen, M.D.; Freda Hubbard, APRN; Todd Douglas, M.D.; Kamala Brooks, APRN; Melodye Campbell, APRN; and Tiffany A. Bryant, PA-C. “We’re chuffed to bits to have such a wonderful team of physicians and nurse practitioners join us,” said D’Eramo.

And even though this progression is rather impressive, there’s still a huge demand yet to be filled. “There’s a shortage of about 200 doctors in our region, and a lot of that is primary care. I reckon even with 30 more primary care physicians, we won’t be able to meet all the needs in this part of Kentucky.”

The integration with the two new providers took effect from August 1. “We’re thrilled to have Dr. Allen and Dr. Douglas at Graves Gilbert. We’re rooting for them to thrive,” expressed D’Eramo.
