New Parking Sign Installation

The recent changes in downtown’s parking system have made navigation easier for everyone who frequents this area. The new signs are mint-colored for easy identification and state conspicuously “Free Parking” along with the specific location details and additional words “All Day”.

New Parking Areas

Under the new regime, there are now four different areas where people can enjoy free parking and access the numerous businesses and attractions that call Downtown Bowling Green home. These include:

  • Two lots at Circus Square Park (601 College St.)
  • One lot at Stadium Park Plaza Structure parking garage (360 E 8th Ave.)
  • One lot next to the Warren County Justice Center (1034 Center St.)

Timings for Free Public Parking Areas

These particular locations offer free parking 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, there are two additional locations which provide free parking after 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday and at all times during the weekend. These include:

  • In front of BGMU, across from Bowling Green Ballpark (221 E Main Ave.)
  • Across from Warren County Justice Center (324 E 10th Ave.)

Largest Free Parking Area

The largest free parking available is housed in the parking garage alongside Bowling Green Ballpark Stadium. It boasts of 700 parking slots, providing ample space for vehicles.

Private Parking Options

Though there have been significant enhancements in the public parking spaces, there continues to be private parking options scattered throughout the city. However, these require a parking fee, and failing to abide by the regulations could result in vehicles being towed with respective fees applied to the owners.
