From social gatherings to tea parties, author meets to horticultural treats, there’s plenty to make Mom feel loved and appreciated this weekend. The Mother’s Day festivities kick-off Saturday, May 11 with a variety of events:

Mother’s Day Social at The Nest BGKY

From 10:30 to 1:30 p.m., expect a lively social gathering, themed around Mother’s Day. For more information on prices and ticket availability, check online.

Mother’s Day Tea Party at the Foundry Christian Community Center

Starting at 10 a.m., families are invited to partake in a special Mother’s Day tea party. Activities include wreath-making, educational discussions on women’s health, fun spring and summer crafts for the kids, and a free breakfast. Additionally, representatives from the City of Bowling Green will be present to provide job information.

Mother’s Day Celebration at Paradise Point in Scottsville

At 9:30 a.m., you can meet the author, Marci Seither, of the popular book “Lakeside Retreat”. Attendees will have the opportunity to get a book signed and hear valuable insights on the power of sharing personal stories.

Mother’s Day at Petal & Wine in Glasgow

Visit the beautiful greenhouse full of life and color, with the promise of a perfect gift for mom. The first ten customers will receive a free Mommy and Me set of planters as a Mother’s Day treat.

Full Bloom – A Mother’s Day Event at Rural Route Clothing Co

This trendy clothing store has planned an event complete with a pop-up business, bouquets for purchase, sweet treats for moms, and fun giveaways. Definitely worth checking out for those Mother’s Day gifts.

Mother’s Day at Bowling Green Ballpark

The ballpark offers mothers free entry for the game. There will also be a flower giveaway and card making station throughout the game for families to enjoy before the first pitch at 1:05 p.m.
