Locals among latest selected to Leadership Kentucky class
Fresh talent from Bowling Green and across Kentucky to join ELEVATE Class of 2024
Bowling Green, KY – Several talented women and men from the region have been selected to be part of the exclusive ELEVATE Kentucky
class of 2024. This elite leadership development program, which started in 2017, comprises young professionals from around the state.
A Launchpad for Young Leaders
The program, facilitated by Leadership Kentucky, aims to provide in-depth personal and professional development that fosters a comprehensive understanding of the challenges facing Kentucky. Over three sessions, taking place from April to June, participants are exposed to a wide range of experiences and insights, aimed at grooming them into future leaders.
Class members are offered opportunities to interact with thought-provoking leaders from across the state, learn about issues plaguing Kentucky and insights into personal leadership abilities. Participants partake in panel discussions, experiential learning opportunities, acquire important leadership skills and gain both regional and statewide perspectives while taking trips across Kentucky.
Like Abby Townsend, a former participant in the ELEVATE Class of 2023, explained, “I have seen a new perspective on the Commonwealth and look forward to finding more ways to get involved in my community.” The program is designed to prepare these emerging millennial leaders to become catalysts in their respective companies and communities, thus helping to ELEVATE Kentucky.
Meet the Class of 2024
The class of 2024 consists of 28 participants who represent a variety of public and private sectors. These representatives come from across the state, marking a significant achievement for them and their communities.
The list of talented individuals includes notables like Nicole Cravens from Christian County associated with Planters Bank, Megan Johnson from Pike County with Aetna Better Health of Kentucky, and Joye Beth Spinks from Warren County, an associate at English, Lucas, Priest, and Owsley LLP.
Gearing up for the Future
The ELEVATE Kentucky program boosts the state’s effort to groom a new generation of leaders. Equipping these upcoming leaders with the skills and knowledge they need to be catalysts in their professional and community spaces. This year’s class represents a promising selection of the state’s future influencers who are prepared to take the charge and elevate their communities and Kentucky as a whole.
