Justin Jennings Takes Helm at Lost River Cave as New CEO

Succession Follows Retirement of Long-time CEO, Rho Lansden

Bowling Green, KY – A new era has commenced at Lost River Cave as Justin Jennings was named the new Chief Executive Officer, following the retirement of Rho Lansden. This is a significant change of leadership for the iconic Kentucky landmark, known for its captivating cave tours and extensive conservation initiatives.

Jennings’ Journey to CEO

Jennings has been a prominent figure at Lost River Cave since 2008, where he initially began as a tour guide, sharing the exceptional lore and beauty of the cave with numerous visitors. Over the years, he has risen through the ranks and held various positions within the organization, including Chief Operations Officer and Head of Park Maintenance and Operations.

In his career at Lost River Cave, Jennings has incessantly worked towards enhancing the cave tours and implanting conservation strategies at the park. His commitment towards the betterment of the park and the visitor experience has been widely noticed and appreciated. “I knew I had found a place where I could make an impact,” reflected Jennings on his tenure at the cave.

A Fond Farewell to Former CEO

Jennings is the second-ever CEO of Lost River Cave, taking over from Rho Lansden who led the organization for twenty-five years. Lansden’s leadership will be celebrated at a retirement function scheduled to be held on July 17th, marking the end of an important chapter in the Lost River Cave history.

Bold new initiatives, improved visitor experiences, and meaningful conservation work are anticipated under the leadership of Justin Jennings. Continuing the work that started under his predecessor, Jennings is expected to explore new heights and usher in a new era of stewardship for the breathtaking Lost River Cave.
