Sixteen students from The Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science recently showcased their innovative research at the Kentucky Junior Academy of Science (KJAS) meeting. Participating among 50 budding researchers, they made significant connections with established scientists while eight students were selected to attend the prestigious AJAS conference in Boston. Their hard work highlights the Academy’s commitment to excellence in science education and the importance of nurturing young scientific talent.
Frankfort, Kentucky – It’s an exciting time for young scientists as sixteen brilliant students from The Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science at Western Kentucky University showcased their hard work and research at the recent Kentucky Junior Academy of Science (KJAS) meeting. This vibrant event, held in collaboration with the Kentucky Academy of Science Annual Meeting, brought together budding researchers from all corners of Kentucky.
