Lorri Hare, the Director of the Humane Society, emphasized on the significance of the event saying, “This is extremely important. That building is run solely on donations and I really don’t believe we could keep those doors open without this event.” With the funds raised from the Annual Fur Ball, the Humane Society ensures the safety and welfare of many animals, ultimately saving thousands of lives.
