Bowling Green, KY – Tragedy struck in Warren County on Sunday night when a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle on Nashville Road. The deceased, identified as 34-year-old James Edward Summers, of Franklin, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Responding to a 911 call, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office rushed to the 10000 block of 31 West Nashville Road. What they found was a 2010 Silver Ford Edge with significant front-end damage. The Ford and the bicyclist, James Summers, were both travelling southbound on Nashville Road when the fatal collision occurred. The involved parties were both pronounced dead at the scene.
