Memorial Event Held For Tragic Car Accident Victim, Kinsley Nicole DeMontigny

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The grieving family and friends of Kinsley Nicole DeMontigny, a devoted student at Western Kentucky University (WKU) and beloved employee of Texas Roadhouse in Bowling Green, have invited the community to a special event to celebrate her life. DeMontigny tragically lost her life in a vehicular accident on Interstate 165 (I-165) on March 5.

Community Comes Together In Remembering Kinsley DeMontigny

As a memorial to their beloved Kinsley, her family and friends are holding a unique food truck event from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Tops Food Truck Park, with the aim of coming together as a community through shared grief and memory. The event not only serves as a homage to DeMontigny, but also as a testament to the power of community in the face of loss and grief.

Food Trucks Rally to Donate Profits to Bereaved Family

All participating food trucks at the event will be generously donating 10 percent of their sales to the DeMontigny family. Additional donations can also be made at a local favorite, the Rollax Creamery, or through the creamery’s Venmo account. The fundraiser is an indication of Bowling Green’s tight-knit community coming together to help a bereaved family through an extremely difficult time.

Tops Food Truck Park: A Place For Community Memory

Tops Food Truck Park, well-known to Bowling Green locals, is situated at 1320 Center Street. Today, the venue brings together the community, not just for its fantastic array of food trucks, but to commemorate and celebrate the vibrant life cut tragically short.

The Loss of a Promising Life

Kinsley Nicole DeMontigny, who held a promising future at WKU and had become a recognized figure at Texas Roadhouse, left an indelible impression on all those who knew her. Her untimely death in a car accident on I-165 sent shockwaves through the community. Her loss will be deeply felt by all who had the fortune to know her. Today’s commemoration event is testament to her impact and the void her passing has left in the Bowling Green community.
