This journey of hope was not without its challenges, yet Eden has emerged as a symbol of determination and hard work.

Defying the Odds

Eden’s early life was no cakewalk. Born three months premature, he faced serious health issues that required a breathing machine for the first five years of his life. His contributions extend to the Yearbook staff, cementing his role as a well-rounded student dedicated to serving his peers.

A Vision for the Future

Looking ahead, Eden has set his sights on medical school, aiming to become a heart surgeon. He is already taking steps toward this goal by engaging with Future Health Professionals and KY HealthCorps. As a pharmacy technician at Walmart, he provides valuable assistance to non-English speakers, helping them navigate their healthcare options. Eden recognizes a gap in translation services within healthcare and is determined to address this issue, ensuring that others receive the help they need.
