BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Clark Beverage Group and Clark Distributing Company have announced plans to invest nearly $130 million in constructing a new corporate headquarters and distribution facility in Bowling Green. This significant investment is expected to create 20 new jobs for the local community.
The new facility will span 300,000 square feet and will serve as both an office and distribution center for the company. The expansion aims to address the growing demand for both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages in the region.
Governor Andy Beshear expressed optimism about the project, stating, “Companies continue to recognize that our state is the perfect location to do business, and that means even more great job opportunities for our residents.” This investment reflects a broader trend of businesses seeking to base their operations in Kentucky.
Members of the Clark family shared their enthusiasm about this development, highlighting it as a commitment to both innovation and the communities they serve. “Warren County’s strategic location, talented workforce, and welcoming business environment made it the perfect choice for our continued growth,” they noted.
With the expansion, the total employment by the Clark Group in Kentucky will rise to over 260 employees. This growth continues a legacy that began in 1903, when the Clark Group established its roots in the beverage distribution industry.
Clark Beverage Group has built a solid reputation over the years, distributing well-known brands such as Coca-Cola, Monster Energy, Molson Coors, and Heineken. The company transformed into its current structure when Dal Clark and his family acquired the Miller/Falstaff distributor in Bowling Green back in 1969.
In addition to the new jobs created by this expansion, Clark Group already employs over 1,300 people across its operations in the region. This growth not only reinforces the company’s strong presence in Kentucky but also enhances job opportunities for local residents.
As the construction of the new facility begins, the Bowling Green community can anticipate positive developments in terms of employment and business activity. With a clear focus on innovation and community engagement, Clark Beverage Group is poised to strengthen its position as a leader in the beverage distribution industry.
