Both athletes earned recognition for their efforts, with Cox being named the Offensive Player of the Week, while Skidmore took home the title of Freshman of the Week.

The success against the Bulldogs followed a thrilling victory over UTEP, where WKU defeated the only other undefeated team in the conference in two nail-biting matches, 3-1 and 3-2.
