Bowling Green Gears Up for 26th Annual Stand for Children Day

Bowling Green Prepares for the 26th Annual Stand for Children Day

The city of Bowling Green, Kentucky, is gearing up for an important annual event aimed at supporting and uplifting children in its community. Community Education, a local organization, has recently announced the date for its 26th Annual Stand for Children Day, a day filled with activities and vital information about available services.

Event Details

Set to take place on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 9 am to 11 am, the event will be hosted at the Bowling Green Ballpark, a beloved local venue. In case of unfavorable weather conditions, a rain date has been set for Monday, June 24. The event promises a wide array of activities for families and it’s entirely free to the public.

Beyond the fun and games, attendees will also be able to access valuable information about local services available to them in the South Central Kentucky community. To carry this information and any other treasures from the day, Community Education is providing clear drawstring backpacks, free of charge, while stocks last.

Proclamation and Ribbon Cutting

Building anticipation for the Stand for Children Day, Community Education experts will host a proclamation and ribbon cutting ceremony in the Club Room at Bowling Green Ballpark two days before the main event. This riveting pre-event ceremony is slated for Tuesday, June 18 at 9 am.

Vendor and Summer Camp Registrations Open

Those interested in being part of this significant day can register as vendors or for available summer camp spots. The registration forms for both are available on the official Community Education site.

Event Contacts

For those seeking more details about the 26th Annual Stand for Children Day, they can reach out to Joshua Smith, who is handling inquiries. He can be contacted via phone or email, both of which are provided on the Community Education site.

This strongly anticipated community event holds the promise of a fun day out for families, while also providing a platform for the community to stand in solidarity for children. This poignant mix of play and purpose goes to the heart of Community Education’s mission: to empower and uplift the communities they serve.
