Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce just celebrated its 90th annual celebration. Wow, that’s a huge milestone! The Chamber, officially formed back in 1935, welcomed local business leaders, area officials, and special guests to honor the organization’s growth over the past year. During this event, they reflected on individual accomplishments and looked ahead to what the future holds.

Excitingly, Andy Barker has taken on the role of the 2025 Chamber Chairman. He expressed a deep sense of optimism for growth and development in the upcoming year. In 2024, the Chamber made serious strides, announcing 24 projects that created 640 new jobs and brought in an impressive $325 million in capital investment. It’s clear that Bowling Green is on the move!

Community Caution: Sinkhole on Single Tree Way

Single Tree Way. Repairs were underway when a sinkhole developed due to ground collapse. Unfortunately, this collapse also severed a water line, leading to both short- and long-term repair efforts. For safety reasons, residents are advised to steer clear of the area until it has been deemed stable again.

Law Enforcement Updates

Warren County Sheriff’s Office has made headlines following the arrest of a 27-year-old man associated with a stolen vehicle. This round of events unfolded early Thursday morning when deputies spotted a white Chevrolet driving recklessly on I-65 North. A cross-check of the vehicle’s license plate revealed that it was stolen, and further investigation confirmed the vehicle itself had also been reported stolen from Warren County. methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. To make matters worse, a search of the vehicle revealed a Glock pistol. Oneal has since been arrested and is currently in custody at the Warren County Regional Jail.
