In an unexpected twist, he tried to evade the police by climbing a fence into an alley. Not only did he resist arrest, but police say he even reached for a handgun when the officers confronted him. Things only escalated further as he allegedly bit one of the officers during the scuffle.

Officers discovered suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, knives, and a firearm confirmed to belong to a victim of an earlier theft.
