BOWLING GREEN, KY – There has been an alarming increase in the number of car break-ins recently around the city of Bowling Green, creating a sense of insecurity among the residents. The Bowling Green Police Department (BGPD) is seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a group of unidentified suspects involved in a series of car break-ins that took place on March 18. The offenders targeted vehicles parked at two busy locations – Planet Fitness, a local gym, and Greenview Regional Hospital, between the peak hours of 11.15 p.m. and 12.15 a.m.
The unidentified suspects caused damages over $1,000 to these vehicles besides stealing valuables such as wallets and purses. According to the BGPD, these criminals were seen traveling in a black passenger car. The police department is putting in all resources to track down these criminals and bring them to justice.
In such trying times, the BGPD is urging the public to come forward and support their efforts in identifying these suspects.
