Belmark Breaks Ground on a New $99 Million Packaging Plant Near Bowling Green

Belmark Inc., a Major Player in the Packaging Industry, Announces the Construction of a Massive New Manufacturing Facility

Strong winds of economic growth are blowing in the regions of Allen County with the news of Belmark Inc. launching its brand new packaging plant. Situated southeast of the buzzing city of Bowling Green, a stone’s throw away from the Kentucky – Tennessee Border, the plant, worth a whooping $99 million, has been a dynamo of bustling activities and hopeful anticipations.

Boost to Employment and Economic Growth

The plant, scheduled for its grand opening in 2026, spreads over 25 acres of land, with the manufacturing facility taking 156,000 square feet of the area. The construction will begin by summer next year, and it aims at giving a significant boost to the currently sparse job market in the area. According to reports, the factory is projected to create about 160 new jobs, that will not just aid in the economic upliftment of the community, but will also help retain the local populace seeking job opportunities elsewhere.

Plant’s Significant Contribution to Local Ranking

Governor Andy Beshear recently celebrated the investment, emphasizing how this move strongly contributed to Site Selection’s magazine’s recent placing of Allen County among the top 20 in its “America’s Best Counties” list. He joyously stated, “Well, this is a thrilling announcement today, the biggest investment in Allen County in over a decade, and it adds to our biggest and best economic development in our history.”

About Belmark Inc.

Based out of De Pere, Wisconsin, Belmark Inc. has enjoyed an impressive run in the packaging industry for 46 prosperous years. Belmark currently oversees over 1,300 employees spread across seven facilities.
