BOWLING GREEN, KY – The Bowling Green Hot Rods, a local minor league baseball team, held day one of their eagerly awaited annual baseball camp on Thursday. Little Leaguers from across the Bowling Green region gathered at the ballpark to learn, practice, and reinforce their baseball skills under the mentorship of their favorite players.

Hot Rods outfielder, Ryan Cermak, who took an active part in the exercise, expressed his enthusiasm and joy of being part of the camp. He said, “It’s fun for me. I mean, this was what I majored in in college. I always wanted to work with the younger generation, to keep them involved in sports and exercising.”
Hot Rods pitcher J.T. Fondtain echoed this sentiment, sharing his childhood memories with the young trainees. He said, “I remember when I was little, I always looked up to these types of players. Being able to do this now, it means a lot, and hopefully, they can look up to us and be the next future baseball players.”
