Melisa Rowlett Passes Away in Bowling Green
Bowling Green, Kentucky – The community is mourning the loss of Melisa Rowlett, who passed away at the age of 72 on October 29, 2024. A vibrant and caring individual, Melisa was born on January 18, 1952, to the late Oron and Elsie Jordan.
A Life Filled with Love and Family
Melisa was preceded in death by several family members, including her grandson Colter Cole and three brothers, Jeff, Steve, and Gary Jordan, along with her sister Anita Regan. Known for her joyful spirit, Melisa spent her life dedicated to her family, which she cherished wholeheartedly. She was talented in the kitchen, often cooking for her loved ones and creating cherished memories around the dining table.
Melisa is survived by her husband Phil Rowlett, three daughters, Davina Propes, Katherine Majoros (married to John), and Julie Brown. She also has three step-daughters, Lori Parker (married to Steve), Leigha Reddick (married to Bryan), and Lisa Rowlett Nichols. Her family extends to include one grandson, Joel Kirby, two brothers David Jordan (married to Tina) and Henery Eric Jordan, as well as several step-grandchildren and other extended family members.
Visitation and Funeral Arrangements
Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects during the visitation planned for Monday, November 4, 2024, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The funeral service is set to begin at 2 p.m. on the same day, all taking place at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel. Following the service, Melisa will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery.
