A truck, driven by Alberto Andres, a 24-year-old from Portland, Tennessee, was traveling south on I-65. Reports indicate that the truck veered off the main roadway and onto the outside shoulder.
In a devastating turn of events, the truck struck the rear of a trailer that was connected to a Freightliner commercial vehicle. This Freightliner was being operated by Tiras Prothro, a 41-year-old from Chicago, Illinois.
