Graves Gilbert Clinic Spearheads Community Walking Program

Bowling Green, Kentucky – New Initiative for Community Health and Wellness

In a bid to foster physical activity and overall wellness within the Bowling Green community, Graves Gilbert Clinic has launched the Graves Gilbert Clinic Health Walk. This program is the result of a partnership between Graves Gilbert, Lost River Cave, and Bowling Green Ballpark, the official home of the Hot Rods. The program will be open to all residents in the area, free of charge with a proactive approach to promote health and community engagement.

A Step Toward Better Health

Mike D’Eramo, CEO of Graves Gilbert Clinic, stated, “The aim for the Graves Gilbert Clinic Health Walk is to motivate our patients to get active and engage with our healthcare providers.” The clinic holds to the notion that substantial changes originate from a solitary step, and they await eager participants for the walk.

The health walk offers participants a secure environment to engage in physical activity, get free health education, and meet their healthcare providers. Come rain or shine, participants can join the walk at two different locations from 7:30-9 a.m., including the Lost River Cave walking trails on the last Wednesday of every month and at the Bowling Green Ballpark on one Saturday a month.
