Bowling Green Resident Arrested on Drug Charges

A Bowling Green man was arrested for serious drug offences as a result of a successful search warrant execution. 45-year-old Scottie Starks is now in custody on charges of first-degree trafficking in controlled substances and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Authorities executed a federal search warrant at Starks’ residence at 643 Denali Street early Thursday morning. This law enforcement action involved the collaborative efforts of the Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) office, the Kentucky State Police Interdiction, and the Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force detectives.
Seizures Following the Search Warrant Execution
The search yielded a notable amount of contraband. Officers uncovered eight pounds of Mexican Methamphetamine, four pounds of cocaine, a Glock Handgun, four high-capacity magazines, and a money counter. Alongside these, they also found $4,834 in cash, drug packaging material, about half a pound of marijuana, a bag containing assorted pills yet to be identified, and a 2014 Chevrolet Impala.
Charges Against Scottie Starks
