With a goal to be as accessible and representative of the diverse student body as possible, the Student Government Association (SGA) at Western Kentucky University entails an important part of the campus culture and decision-making process. As the SGA Spring 2024 general election commences, over 60 candidates are contesting for various roles, reflecting a vibrant youthful democracy.
How does one vote?
Voting for the SGA Spring 2024 general election is open on TopNet. Students can cast their votes until 11:59 p.m. on the forthcoming Tuesday. Voting in the SGA elections presents a unique opportunity for students to influence their campus life and help shape a better, more inclusive university community.
Who are the Candidates?
The SGA election at WKU sees a total of over 60 candidates running for various positions in the Executive Council and the Legislative Council. Executive Council candidates are running for the offices of Student Body President, Executive Vice President, and Administrative Vice President.
