Bowling Green, KY– Vista Metals has announced plans to invest approximately $60 million to establish a new specialty aluminum products operation in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Governor Andy Beshear delivered the good news, lauding Kentucky’s metals industry’s rapidly expanding landscape. The investment will create over 50 full-time jobs and boost the state’s economic growth, marking another milestone of industrial progress for Warren County.

A significant milestone for Kentucky

Governor Beshear thanked Vista Metals for the commitment they’ve shown in Kentucky’s economy and industry. “The growth of Kentucky’s metals sector is not slowing down anytime soon. We have seen incredible investment across this industry in recent years, and Warren County has been among the leading communities for that growth,” Beshear said. Nestled on over 100 acres, the new facility would measure more than 75,000 square feet, with preparatory work already in motion for a phased build-out.

The broad array of jobs created would span operations, planning, engineering, and site management. Vista Metals CEO, Andy Primack, expressed anticipation over the plan to bring over 50 new jobs to the area.
